TL;DR. Drift is being retired. Salesloft’s Drift Sunset FAQ says access ends on January 31, 2027 (or when your contract ends, if sooner), the chat widget stops working after that, and remaining data is deleted on May 1, 2027. There is no Drift pricing to compare anymore: drift.com/pricing redirects to Salesloft, which points customers to 1mind. If you’re replacing Drift, the choice splits in two. Enterprise teams with Salesforce and big traffic look at 1mind, Qualified, Warmly or Chili Piper, all sold through sales. Smaller B2B teams that used Drift to qualify visitors and book demos can get most of that job done for $0 to $50 a month. Below: the Drift timeline, what to replace, and seven alternatives with verified pricing.

We make Feedbot, one of the tools below. It fits the small-team end of this list, not the enterprise end, and we say so where it matters.

What happened to Drift

Date Event Source
February 2024 Salesloft acquires Drift Business Wire
March 5, 2026 Clari + Salesloft announce a partnership with 1mind and the “gradual sunset” of Drift Salesloft newsroom
Now Salesloft’s chat page says “We’ve transitioned from Drift to 1mind” Salesloft chat agents
January 31, 2027 Drift retired; widget, Drift Email and the Drift API stop working Drift Sunset FAQ
April 30, 2027 Last day to request an export for contracts running past the sunset Drift Sunset FAQ
May 1, 2027 Remaining Drift data permanently deleted Drift Sunset FAQ

Salesloft says your service level stays the same until the sunset, and contracts that run past January 31, 2027 are handled case by case by your account team.

What about Drift pricing?

Drift never published a full price list. It was sold through sales on custom quotes. As of October 2026, there’s nothing to buy: drift.com/pricing redirects to Salesloft, and Salesloft refers Drift clients to 1mind under an exclusive agreement. If you’re on a contract, your price stays as is until it ends or until the sunset.

The practical question isn’t what Drift costs. It’s what you’ll pay to replace the parts you used.

What you need to replace

Salesloft’s FAQ lists three things that break on January 31, 2027:

  1. The website chat widget. Remove the Drift script and add your new tool’s widget.
  2. Drift Email (Siftrock). Salesloft recommends allGood for this.
  3. Custom integrations built on the Drift API. These stop working too.

Beyond those, list what Drift actually did for you. For most smaller B2B teams it was four jobs:

  • Greet visitors on pricing and product pages and ask a few qualifying questions.
  • Route qualified visitors to a calendar to book a demo.
  • Alert the right rep in Slack when a hot lead is on the site.
  • Push the lead into the CRM.

If that’s your list, you don’t need an enterprise AI SDR to replace it.

The 7 best Drift alternatives

1. Feedbot (ours)

What it is. An AI chatbot for websites and apps that combines sales, support and feedback in one conversation. On a B2B site it answers product and pricing questions from your docs and website, asks your qualifying questions (team size, use case, timeline), recommends a plan and shows buttons to start a trial or book a demo.

How lead qualification works. After each conversation, the AI scores the lead from 0 to 100 and extracts contacts and a summary. Visitors with a score of 50+ who left an email or phone, or who are signed in on your site, appear in Leads. You can export them to CSV on any plan, or send each new lead to Zapier, Make, n8n, HubSpot or your backend with a signed lead.created webhook on Pro and Business (leads docs). Hot leads and handoff requests notify you in Slack, Telegram, Discord or email, and you can take over the chat live (handoff).

Pricing. Free: 50 conversations a month. Starter $5: 100 conversations, website import. Pro $19: 1,000 conversations, CRM webhook, team members, no branding, API and MCP. Business $49: 5,000 conversations and a stronger model option. +500 conversations for $10. See pricing.

Pros. A tiny fraction of an enterprise contract. The same bot also handles support questions and bug reports from existing customers, so you don’t run two widgets.

Cons. No account-based features: no visitor de-anonymization, no company enrichment, no routing by account owner. No native Salesforce or HubSpot app (webhook only). No built-in calendar: the “book a demo” button opens your scheduling link. No voice or video agent.

Choose it if you’re a small B2B or SaaS team that used Drift mainly to qualify inbound visitors and get demos booked.

2. HubSpot

What it is. CRM-native live chat and chatbots, plus an AI Customer Agent on paid service plans.

Pricing. HubSpot’s live chat page says live chat and the chatbot builder are free, and the bots can qualify leads and book meetings. On Service Hub pricing, Starter starts at $10 to $20 per seat per month depending on billing and removes HubSpot branding from chat; Professional is $100 per seat per month plus a $1,500 one-time onboarding fee and includes Customer Agent and 3,000 HubSpot Credits.

Pros. Free rule-based qualification and meeting booking, with every lead already in your CRM.

Cons. The free bot follows scripts; the AI agent sits on Professional, which is a big step up in cost.

Choose it if HubSpot is your CRM. It’s the most direct free replacement for Drift’s playbooks.

3. Intercom

What it is. A helpdesk with the Fin AI agent, also used for inbound sales chat.

Pricing (Intercom pricing). Seats at $29, $85 or $132 per month on annual billing, plus $0.99 per Fin outcome. 14-day trial; startups can get up to 93% off through the Early Stage program.

Pros. One tool for sales and support chat, strong AI, mature workflows and integrations.

Cons. Built support-first; per-seat plus per-outcome pricing adds up. See our Intercom pricing guide and Feedbot vs Intercom Fin.

Choose it if you want a full customer communication platform, not just a lead bot.

4. 1mind

What it is. Salesloft’s named successor to Drift. 1mind sells AI “Superhumans”: agents that answer questions, handle objections, give live product demos and qualify buyers on your site and on sales calls.

Pricing. Not published; demo and quote only (1mind).

Pros. The path of least resistance if you run Salesloft, since it feeds buyer signals into Salesloft’s system.

Cons. Enterprise sales process and pricing; overkill for a team that just needs a qualifier.

Choose it if you’re a Salesloft customer with enough traffic to justify an enterprise AI agent.

5. Qualified

What it is. An AI SDR platform (Piper) built around Salesforce, with website chat, email conversations and meeting booking.

Pricing (Qualified pricing). Premier, Enterprise and Ultimate plans; prices are not published. Premier includes 250K monthly web sessions; agent handoff and MCP/API access start at Enterprise.

Pros. The closest like-for-like replacement for Drift in enterprise Salesforce orgs.

Cons. Contact-sales pricing sized for large traffic.

Choose it if you’re an enterprise B2B team on Salesforce.

6. Warmly

What it is. Visitor de-anonymization plus AI inbound chat and automated follow-up.

Pricing (Warmly pricing, annual). AI Web-Deanonymization from $10,000/year, Inbound Chat from $20,000/year, AI Inbound Autopilot from $30,000/year. Quarterly billing costs about 25% more.

Pros. Tells you which companies are on your site even when they don’t chat, which Drift users valued.

Cons. Starts at five figures a year.

Choose it if account identification is the main thing you’ll miss from Drift.

7. Chili Piper

What it is. Inbound lead routing and scheduling: qualify a form fill or chat and put a meeting on the right rep’s calendar.

Pricing (Chili Piper pricing, annual only). Routing & Scheduling from $1,250/month ($15,000/year) with 15 seats; Experiences from $3,500/month with 30 seats and AI qualification.

Pros. Best-in-class routing and round-robin booking.

Cons. Annual contracts; not a chatbot that answers product questions on its own.

Choose it if demo booking speed and routing across a big sales team matter most.

How to replace Drift on a small team

Here’s a lean setup that covers the four common Drift jobs without an enterprise contract:

  1. Write down your qualifying questions. Three is enough: company size, use case, timeline. Add them to the bot’s instructions.
  2. Point the bot at your docs and pricing page so it can answer real questions before asking anything (knowledge base).
  3. Add a “Book a demo” button that opens your existing scheduling link.
  4. Route hot leads to Slack so a person sees them while the visitor is still on the site.
  5. Send leads to your CRM with a webhook through Zapier or Make, or export a CSV weekly if volume is low.
  6. Swap the widget. Remove the Drift script, add the new one (install guide), and test on your pricing page.
  7. Export your Drift data through your account manager or Salesloft support before your contract ends.

How to choose

  • Enterprise, Salesforce, high traffic: Qualified or 1mind. Add Warmly if you need account identification, Chili Piper for routing.
  • On HubSpot already: start with HubSpot’s free chatbot, move to Customer Agent if you need AI answers.
  • Want one tool for sales and support: Intercom if budget allows, Feedbot if it doesn’t.
  • Small team, inbound demos, tight budget: Feedbot or HubSpot free.

Whichever you pick, don’t wait for January. Run the new tool alongside Drift for a few weeks and compare lead quality before the widget goes dark.

Questions

Can't find an answer? Ask the bot in the corner, or write to us.

Is Drift shutting down?

Yes. Salesloft, which acquired Drift in 2024, announced a gradual sunset in March 2026. Its Drift Sunset FAQ says Drift will be retired on January 31, 2027, or at the end of your contract if that comes first. The Drift chat widget stops working after that date.

How much does Drift cost?

Drift no longer has a public pricing page: drift.com/pricing now redirects to Salesloft, and Salesloft refers Drift customers to 1mind instead of selling new Drift contracts. Existing contracts are honored at current terms until they end or until January 31, 2027.

What happens to my Drift data?

According to Salesloft, data stays accessible until your contract ends or January 31, 2027. If your contract runs past that date, data is stored offline until April 30, 2027 so you can request an export. Remaining Drift data is permanently deleted on May 1, 2027.

What does Salesloft recommend instead of Drift?

Salesloft recommends 1mind for Drift's chatbot functionality and allGood to replace Drift Email (Siftrock). Neither publishes self-serve pricing.

What is the cheapest Drift alternative for a small B2B team?

HubSpot's free live chat and chatbot builder can qualify leads and book meetings at no cost. For an AI agent that answers product questions and scores leads, Feedbot starts at $0 (50 conversations) with paid plans from $5 a month. Enterprise tools like Qualified, Warmly and Chili Piper start in the thousands per month or year.
